MORE INFORMATION:

Our campsite boasts two cosy glamping A-frames and a semi-shaded grass area for tents and caravans.

Pricing:

• Base rate of R1600 per night for max 4 guests. This includes 2 glamping A-frames and a semi-shaded grass area for tents/caravans, an ablution with a hot-water shower, toilet and basin.
• Any additional adults pay R200pp extra, any additional children (ages 2-12) pay R100pp extra.
• The campsite can accommodate max 10 guests (4 guests in the A-frames and 6 in tents/caravans)
• The entire campsite is exclusively yours… whether you choose to stay in the A-frames, choose to camp, or choose both options is entirely up to your group.
• The area includes all of the following:

1. Glamping A-frame nr.1 (can accommodate 2 guests):

• No electricity
• 1 x double bed with a mattress. Please bring your own bedding.
• 1 x solar powered flashlight
• 2 x camping chairs
• Space on the floor for your dog bed. Please bring your own dog bed.

Please note:

The A-frames do not have their own bathroom or kitchenette. Glampers who stay in the A-frames, share a bathroom and kitchenette with campers.

2. Glamping A-frame nr.2 (can accommodate 2 guests):

• No electricity
• 2 x single beds with mattresses (option of converting to a double bed). Please bring your own bedding.
• 1 x solar powered flashlight
• 2 x camping chairs
• Space on the floor for your dog bed. Please bring your own dog bed.
• 4 Seater picnic table with benches

Please note:

The A-frames do not have their own bathroom or kitchenette. Glampers who stay in the A-frames, share a bathroom and kitchenette with campers.

3. Semi-shaded grass area for camping (can accommodate 3 tents/ 2 caravans):

• No electricity points
• Grass area for tents (no designated stands)
• Area with wooden chippings for caravans

4. Ablution (shared between glampers and campers):

• Solar powered
• 1 x shower with hot water
• 1 x basin
• 1 x toilet (we provide toilet paper)
• Bath mats (please bring your own towels and toiletries)

5. Kitchenette (shared between glampers and campers):

• Solar powered
• Fridge with freezer
• 2 plate gas stove
• Double sink
• Crockery and cutlery for 4 glampers (campers bring all your own crockery and cutlery)
  • 4 x knives, forks, teaspoons, dessert spoons and steak knives
  • Cutting knives
  • Cheese grater
  • Chopping board
  • 3 x cast iron pots for the gas stove
  • 1 x frying pan
  • 4 x wine glasses
  • 4 x tumblers
  • 4 x enamel coffee mugs
  • 4 x enamel plates

6. Braai area (shared between glampers and campers):

• Plunge pool (with the option of heating with a donkey)
• Designated braai pit
• Jungle gym for kids (you are welcome to bring bicycles along for riding around on the farm).
• Wood at R25 per bag.

Campsite rules:

• No music allowed at the campsite
• Moving around on the farm is at own risk. Please be vigilant at all times as Vrolikheid Landgoed is a working fruit farm and tractors/bakkies move between the orchards.
• Please keep to the speed limit of 20km/h when driving on the farm roads.
• All dogs are to be on leashes when leaving the fenced campsite.
• Doggy poop bags are provided. Please pick up behind your dog and throw it in the bin.
• The campsite is accessible by a car. No 4x4 required
• The campsite is child-friendly, caravan friendly and dog-friendly.
• There are no designated stands. The campsite has a grass area for tents. Caravans and vans, please park on the wood chippings.
